Learner-Centric Certification Redesign
At DevLearn 2025 in Las Vegas, I presented the story of rebuilding Bluebeam's certification program from the ground up: UX research, focus groups, and a deliberate shift from feature-based to outcome-driven design.
The redesign reflects a belief I keep coming back to: assessment is a product lever. Designed well, it shapes behavior, unlocks capability growth, and strengthens the whole ecosystem around a product. The Signal-Based Framework I introduced in the session helps organizations build scalable, outcome-driven, high-stakes programs that support real user performance and customer success, not feature checklists.

A certification is a mirror: done right, it shows people what they can now do. That is still my job description today, just with different data.
